Voyeur’s View of Election Night

Rosemary Hahn | , , , | Thursday, November 13th, 2008

These great pics, taken from behind the scenes on election night 2008, capture the soon-to-be President Elect Barack Obama with Jo Biden, watching the television coverage with their family and staff; including John McCain’s concession speech. The photos appear to give a really intimate look at what seem like private moments between Obama and his wife, mother-in-law, daughters and Vice Presidential Candidate; as well as congratulatory comraderie with his staff. There are also pics of the candidate and his crew making the journey to the stage to make his acceptance speech. See the flickr set here .

Photos from our exhibition in Geneva

Deroy Peraza | , , , , | Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Here are some pictures from Hyperakt’s “The New Hope” exhibition opening last weekend at Geneva, Switzerland’s Flux Laboratory. The opening was a huge success.

Geneva has a serious case of Obama fever and our work was very well received. So well received, in fact, that most of the pieces sold in the first two days! Cynthia Odier and her team at Flux made us feel right at home. What an awesome space. See the pictures for yourself. Oh, and check us out on Swiss Television.

30 Minutes With Barack

Rosemary Hahn | , , , | Friday, October 31st, 2008

For many, seems like their idea of heaven. For some, the word ‘infomercial’ can conjure up bad memories of Deion Sanders’ Hot Dog Express (shiver), no matter who it is. Fortunately, Obama has utilized his usual top-notch (and well-paid, no doubt) band of talented party peeps for a well-produced ’special’ on how the Dem’s top guy is everyone’s top guy. Check it out.

Oh, and if you’re feeling a little need for some Billy Mays magic, knock yourself out with some Oxy-strength gansta rap.
