The American Evolution is now available as a t-shirt. The 253 portraits that make up the flag on the T-shirt are each unique combinations of Lincoln, FDR, JFK, RFK, MLK, Clinton, Gore, and Barack Obama. The piece was part of Hyperakt’s “The New Hope” exhibit at Geneva’s Flux Laboratory.
Obama has made history!!! We have all been a part of it. To commemorate this historic event we have created some new posters based on the “New Hope” series. Here are some pictures from Hyperakt’s “The New Hope” exhibition opening last weekend at Geneva, Switzerland’s Flux Laboratory. The opening was a huge success.
Geneva has a serious case of Obama fever and our work was very well received. So well received, in fact, that most of the pieces sold in the first two days! Cynthia Odier and her team at Flux made us feel right at home. What an awesome space. See the pictures for yourself. Oh, and check us out on Swiss Television.
We’ve been making lots of new election related artwork for our upcoming show in Geneva. This series will be part of the show. Each poster features an Obama quote with the core of the message highlighted.

A print of the poster was featured at the Manifest Hope exhibit in Denver and, at the end of October, will be part of a Hyperakt exhibition at Flux Laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland. The artwork for the poster was made available for free on our blog so it could be used to promote the Obama campaign by people everywhere. Due to popular demand, we have printed a limited run of 16″ x 24″ posters on a beautiful heavy stock for those of you who just want the poster delivered to your door. The poster is numbered and signed by Deroy Peraza. A big thank you to Clone Press in Seattle who did a wonderful job printing them. Profits from poster sales will be donated to the Obama campaign. Hyperakt has been invited by Flux Laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland to show original works based on our Obama ‘Hope’ poster (as was featured at the Manifest Hope Exhibit for the DNC in Denver) created by us. The exhibit will take place from October 30th to November 17th, in their Dark Room space. Part of the exhibition will feature a range of work from Hyperakt over the years. We’re really excited; and have started pulling everything together to make the exhibit as memorable as possible!
