Oy vey!
Hmmm, Benjamin Netanyahu’s new website sure looks familiar. I guess we are pretty good friends with Israel these days huh? Check out what the New York Times had to say about it.

As you may recall, before the election, we contributed to an event in D.C. raising money for the Obama campaign by raffling off our posters to a couple lucky attendees. In return, we got some lovely pix of some big-time advisor types in front of our art. Amongst these notables was Mona Sutphen, then ’sort-of’ deputy chief to Obama Asia policy advisor Jeffrey Bader. Now, Sutphen has been named one of the incoming White House staff members as a Deputy Chief of Staff. See, not only can Ms. Sutphen work a killer wrap dress, hang with numerous dudes in varying navy suit/red tie-combos and recognize cool art when she sees it, but she’s apparently number one with bossing White House underlings around. Congratulations, Mona and good luck (do us proud)!
Obama is about to make his mark on NYC. We have put together a fundraising effort to pay for a billboard congratulating the President-elect. We need your help to make it happen! Make a small contribution and spread the news to friends:

The American Evolution is now available as a t-shirt. The 253 portraits that make up the flag on the T-shirt are each unique combinations of Lincoln, FDR, JFK, RFK, MLK, Clinton, Gore, and Barack Obama. The piece was part of Hyperakt’s “The New Hope” exhibit at Geneva’s Flux Laboratory.
We’ve put together a collection of screenshots of news sites from around the world showing how they reacted to Barack Obama’s Presidential election victory.
Obama has made history!!! We have all been a part of it. To commemorate this historic event we have created some new posters based on the “New Hope” series. A limited run of 100 numbered prints, signed by artist Deroy Peraza, will be available in four colors. To see the quality of the prints, check out the sold out “New Hope” series here. My girlfriend, Jenna, and I were up bright and early this morning. The excitement was hard to contain. We got to PS 58, our polling station at 6:15 am. The school gym was already completely full! Never have I seen so many smiles and so much excitement on an election day. What a difference from the apathy of 2004! You can feel the excitement in the air. Everyone knows they are rewriting history today.
Here are some pictures from Hyperakt’s “The New Hope” exhibition opening last weekend at Geneva, Switzerland’s Flux Laboratory. The opening was a huge success.

Geneva has a serious case of Obama fever and our work was very well received. So well received, in fact, that most of the pieces sold in the first two days! Cynthia Odier and her team at Flux made us feel right at home. What an awesome space. See the pictures for yourself. Oh, and check us out on Swiss Television.

Yes, the same doods that brought about a cultural phenomenon loved the world over by men from all walks of life have revisited the ad campaign to theorize where these (cheap) beer-guzzing, fun-loving, catch-phrase-spreading guys are today, eight years after…well, you know. Check it out.
