Reading the blog i love typography has been a pleasure of late. Today I caught up with the blog’s weekly summary of type notables, stumbling upon a site that made me feel like a kid again. That is a notable feat in itself—especially from a website. Thus, Tim Fishlock deserves to be shared.

Taking Time With Words

There are some times when words fail me—ask any of the girls I have ever dated. But not often enough can such moments lay claim to a deserving instigator.

This is one such occasion. I have little to say, though my mouth was at first far enough open for words to proceed from the gap. In the silence, the following images (from French calligrapher Julien Breton – aka: Kaalam) will adequately suffice.

Okay, a couple words: notice the creation of the three dimensional grid, from the floor tiles and pole. The precision in this piece blows me away.
