Since the 2016 election, the ACLU has reaffirmed its place as the nation’s foremost protector of our civil rights. In the first six months of the Trump era, membership quadrupled to 1.6 million and $83 million in donations came pouring in. In light of this massive growth, and the perilous state of civil rights under the new administration, the ACLU organized its first conference in almost a decade. The goals of the event were to energize members and transmit that no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe, you are welcome at the ACLU and in this country.
Hyperakt’s challenge was to capture the spirit of this socially-minded, inclusive gathering through the event’s branding.
