The Brief
Hyperakt is a branding and interactive design studio based in Brooklyn, New York. Hyperakt's clients have included non-profit organizations, global brands and independent businesses. We believe that meaningful design sharpens communication, captivates audiences and elevates our surroundings.

Since 2001, we have been shaping our clients' messages into focused design work that elevates the value of their brands. Hyperakt has been sought by cultural institutions, including the World Music Institute and the Syracuse International Film Festival, to draw audiences into their diverse worlds of music and film; by civil rights organizations, such as the ACLU and the Northstar Fund, to help further the cause of democracy; by real estate agencies Aguayo & Huebener and Corcoran, to showcase high-end branded addresses; and by ad agencies Young & Rubicam and Lowe Worldwide, to contribute to projects for global brands such as the NHL, the United Nations, Macy's and Colgate.

We Heart Brooklyn
Luckily for us, that love has been mutual. A quick browse through our client list reads like a who's who in Brooklyn's cultural and civic circles. The Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Brooklyn Arts Council, and many more, have let us help them enrich the lives of New Yorkers by promoting their events and initiatives.

Brownie Points
Our fantastic clients keep us busy, but we always find time to give back to the community. In 2003, Hyperakt co-founded Art4Now to help address the severe lack of funding for arts education in under-resourced schools. We design promotional material pro-bono for AGAST, a tour of the extensive network of artist studios in our neighborhood, and have helped organized Art On & Off Smith, a tour of art spaces in our vicinity. We have created signage for a neighborhood green space known as the Transit Garden, and have lobbied to bring a farmer's market to the area. Our latest endeavor is Hypermarket, a retail exhibition space in our studio that showcases independently designed furniture, objects, and apparel, mostly by local designers.
