Pulling Back the Meritocracy Veil
There is much we can learn about the challenges of educating today's youth by comparing public school and private school data. We see that while private schools statistically perform higher academically, this discrepancy may be explained by the fact public schools educate a larger number of students with special needs, language unfamiliarity, and lower socio-economic status.
