After helping SYRFILM restructure its brand, we began work on the architecture of the new SYRFILM.com. With new organizational structure in mind, the site will adapt to each year's new festival identity. It's designed to house programs under other sub-brands like SYRFILM Office, SYRFILM Events and all that is yet to come from SYRFILM.

The most developed part of the site is dedicated to the festival; it contains trailers and detailed information pages for each film, and all of the films can be filtered and are searchable by various criteria. The site was designed to include a robust scheduling and calendar section to allow visitors to see all of the shows at all the different theaters around the city. It includes a personalized section which lets users create their own calendar for the festival, choose films to see, save favorites, and more.

Hyperakt's role in this project encompassed information strategy, site architecture, wireframing, creative direction, and website design. The site was programmed by a third party vendor in Syracuse and continues to be a work in progress as festival resources allow.
