About

Margaux Le Pierrès

Designer

A native Montrealer, Margaux moved to New York to pursue her BFA in Communication Design at FIT. She graduated summa cum laude in 2013. With experience working in design in Montreal, Paris, and NYC, she has a passion for the creative process, design thinking, and data visualization.

At Hyperakt, Margaux is skilled at developing design concepts and strategies for clients, boiling complex messaging into simple ideas. She works closely with design leads to apply her expertise on projects for Sesame Street, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Action Against Hunger.

Margaux’s work has been recognized from the Type Directors Club and D&AD Awards, and was decorated by the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec. Her thesis explored the role of design in education, and ideated a hackathon to apply gaming and play to learning. Margaux currently lives in Brooklyn, where she enjoys cooking and four o’clock treats. In her free time, she gives small brands a visual voice through her creation, The Martian Project.
