Sara Hashim
Senior Design Director
Sara is a creative strategist and designer with two decades of experience helping organizations show up with clarity. As Senior Design Director at Hyperakt, she leads visual identity work for mission-driven organizations, including the Prysm Initiative and the Education Foundation of Sarasota County.
Sara does her best work at pivotal moments: leadership transitions, reorganizations, mergers, and milestones that reframe what comes next. She believes brand clarity and organizational clarity are intertwined. She has led brand and creative work for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Guggenheim, the New York Botanical Garden, and Harvard University, as well as Nike, Google, and HP.
In addition to being part of the Hyperakt team, Sara is the co-founder of Forest & Trees, a creative consultancy for purpose-driven organizations navigating change. A graduate of Pratt Institute and former fellow at Milton Glaser Inc., she is an Adjunct Professor at NYU and a subject matter expert for NTEN’s Global Tech Enablers Cohort.
Known as a calm, clear-headed voice in the middle of change, Sara leads with kindness, clarity, and empathy. She lives in Sunnyside, Queens, and will happily point you to its best places to eat.
