Land Recognition

The land upon which we learn, work, and gather today is part of the traditional territory of the Lenni-Lenape, called “Lenapehoking."

Hyperakt is located on unceded Lenape and Canarsie land, with credit to the Territory Acknowledgement project for their historical boundary research. We recognize Indigenous people past, present and future that have been forced from their homelands.
