Jake Porway is a data scientist and machine-learning enthusiast. He worked at the New York Times Research & Development group as a Data Scientist and is currently the founder and Executive Director of DataKind.

DataKind brings together data scientists, developers and high impact social organizations through a comprehensive collaborative approach. Collaborators on data visualization projects include the Ford Foundation and the Sloan Foundation.
