Marianna Fierro

Hailing from the hills of Udine, Italy, Marianna began her adventure in the States as a foreign exchange student. After graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Visual Communication Design and Photo Illustration, Marianna moved to New York.

At Hyperakt, Marianna played a huge role in setting up and launching On the Grid. In addition to photography for Hyperakt and its myriad of self-initiated projects, Marianna contributes her outstanding design skills to projects for clients such as Spotify, New Lab, and the Ad Council's "Embrace Refugee" campaign.

Marianna has recently been nominated one of the most promising new talents of 2015 by Communication Arts, to which she reacted with her classic “Oh Boy!”. She lives in Brooklyn, where she spends her free time nurturing a growing collection of succulents and cacti. She almost always meets her daily goal of walking 10,000 steps.
