Misa Rodriguez

Misa works alongside lead designers at Hyperakt to assist on branding, infographic, and web projects. He merges art and design into seamlessly concepted and executed work for clients that include UNHCR, Gotham Writers Workshop, and WW Norton.

Originally from the arid lands of Zacatecas, Mexico, Misa moved to New York after graduating from Texas State University in San Marcos with a double major in Communication Design and Printmaking. His work has been exhibited in group exhibits across Texas, and has been recognized by Creative Summit 27, The Dieline, NIU AIGA Signature Awards, and was named the Best Senior Portfolio.

Misa is a member of Bad Example, an art collective from Central Texas. He spends his free time roaming the streets of Brooklyn looking for the best Mexican food the city has to offer and enjoying a good nap in Prospect Park.
