About

Ritesh Gupta

Design Director (he/they)

Bursting with creative energy and insatiable curiosity, Design Director Ritesh Gupta leads Hyperakt's visual design approach and output. Ritesh's design experience is deep and wide-ranging from branding to digital to product. He has previously worked at Wieden+Kennedy, several Shark Tank funded startups, nonprofits, and most recently as a Senior Director of New Product Ventures at Gannett, publisher of the USA Today. His versatility, optimism, and love for teaching makes him an excellent mentor for our design team. Ritesh's mission-driven work doesn't stop at Hyperakt – he serves as a volunteer for Where Are The Black Designers? and he is the founder of Useful School, a pay-what-you-can online school for people of color. He speaks about design and equity regularly at major design conferences and events. Ritesh may have left his heart in Italy, but his appreciation for the best pizza and olives NYC has to offer is unsurpassed.
