The Refugee Project featured in the Museum Für Kunst Und Gewerbe Hamburg

From June 11, 2021 until January 9, 2022, The Refugee Project will be featured in an exhibition at the Museum Für Kunst Und Gewerbe Hamburg (MK&G) titled "Heimaten" or "Homeland." The exhibition explores the definition of the term homeland: "But is there really such a thing as Heimat? And if so, what is your Heimat? Where is it located? Who gets to be part of your Hei-mat? And who doesn’t? How much Heimat do you need? And why do people react so emotionally when it comes to the subject of Heimat?"

The following video, produced by MK&G, presents a walkthrough of the exhibition.

Hyperakt team-member Izabella Stern took a field trip from her home in Berlin to the exhibition in Hamburg and captured how The Refugee Project is presented in the exhibition.
