You’ll never have enough experience, time, or money

Established by sheer accident in 2010, Good Fucking Design Advice has served an international audience of working-class creatives with colorful advice, offensive inspiration, and well-designed merchandise. With a unique blend of honesty and profanity, founders Brian and Jason continue to run their potty-mouths online, at conferences, and in universities preaching what they practice with hopes of igniting the passionate obsessions of creatives young and old alike.

  • Two men stand in front of an audience giving a presentation. They are holding bottles and standing on either side of a projected image that shows a man lying down and wearing a T-shirt. The audience watches intently, seated in rows facing the presenters.

  • A group of people gather around a long, rectangular wooden table. They are standing and appear to be eating and socializing. On the table are plates, cups, and a long serving board with sliced bread. Additional chairs and desks can be seen in the background.
  • An overhead view of a workshop setup in a spacious room. Several people are scattered throughout, engaging in conversations. Rows of black and orange chairs are arranged facing a projector screen. Tables with various materials and refreshments are also visible.
  • Two men stand in front of a seated audience, presenting a slide with side-by-side photos. One man holds a laptop displaying "Use fucking Helvetica," and the other holds a laptop with "Don't use fucking Helvetica." The presenters discuss typography passionately.
